Schedule individual pages or storefront settings to go live at a specific time straight from Customizer

Scheduling Content

Introduction

At Pack, you have the capability to schedule your content to go live at a specified time. This feature is particularly useful for coordinating new product launches, special promotions, or timed discounts.

By scheduling a page or storefront settings for a specific date and time, Pack will automatically deploy and publish these changes at the designated time.

To ensure the scheduled changes go live, Auto-Publish must be enabled in Pack Admin > Settings > Deploys.

Scheduling a Page

  • Navigate to the Customizer.

  • Make the desired changes to your page, such as adding or editing sections, altering page settings, or updating section content.

  • In the top left corner, select "Schedule Page."

  • Decide whether to create a new schedule or add it to an existing one.

    • Creating a New Schedule:

      • Choose "Create New Schedule."

      • Enter a title, and select the date, time, and timezone for the schedule.

      • Click "Create Schedule."

    • Adding to an Existing Schedule:

      • Choose "Add to Existing Schedule."

      • Select the desired schedule from the dropdown.

      • Click "Add to Schedule."

  • Confirm the scheduling by checking the top left corner, which should indicate Scheduled, and show which schedule(s) the page is part of.

Scheduling Storefront Settings

This is a beta feature and not currently available.

  • Navigate to the Customizer.

  • Click on "Storefront Settings."

  • Make the desired changes.

  • In the top left corner, select "Schedule Page."

  • Follow the steps for creating a new schedule or adding to an existing schedule.

Removing a Page from a Schedule

  • Navigate to the Customizer.

  • While on the page you wish to unschedule, click 'Scheduled' in the top left corner.

  • Select the schedule to remove the page from and click the pencil icon.

  • In "Schedules/Your Schedule," click the three dots next to the scheduled page and choose "Remove from Schedule."

Editing an Existing Schedule

  • Navigate to the Customizer.

  • While on the page with the scheduled content, click 'Scheduled' in the top left corner.

  • Select the schedule to edit and click the pencil icon.

  • In "Schedules/Your Schedule," you can edit the date, time, and timezone.

Deleting an Existing Schedule

  • Navigate to the Customizer.

  • While on the page with the scheduled content, click 'Scheduled' in the top left corner.

  • Select the schedule to edit and click the pencil icon.

  • To delete the entire schedule, click the three dots next to 'Save' and select 'Delete.'
